Largest 3d Printer Companies in 2013
Gearing up to release an open-source 3 Dimensional printing device coupled with software to control it, Autodesk has attempted to kickstart the growth of this burgeoning printer industry. No small investor, Autodesk has contributed $100 million USD to be used as awards for the top 3d printer companies.
Aiming at contributing to the growth of hardware and software focused business entities, Audodesk CG VP Hanna has released the following quote: "We will look carefully at companies small or large that are able to both innovate and enhance the ecosystem," Samir said during an interview. He went on to disuccss how his corporate parent wants to gather the greatest minds in order to spur the 3d printing industries growth at an accelerated rate. Everyone large and small, hardware or software is being encouraged to apply for the grant. In May of 2014 Autodesk announced a 3d printer, it's first attempt to enter the market, to the surprise of everyone in the industry. Interestingly this printing device is meant to showcase their Spark software which is also to be released.. |
